My musical journey: professional and passionate
Tom Ball is a professional musician available for performance, freelance work, composition, transcription, arranging, and private instruction. He is a professional trombone and euphonium player and is available for booking and instruction locally in Denver or through distance lessons online. He teaches all brass, beginning piano, traditional and jazz music theory, jazz improvisation at all levels, composition and arranging, and music reading and literacy.
Jazz Euphonium
Although his primary professional instrument is the trombone, Tom Ball is known internationally as a premier jazz euphoniumist in the mold of Rich Matteson, Tom Ball brings a modern fresh approach to an instrument rarely used in jazz. He has performed at several International Tuba And Euphonium Conferences, soloist at the Raphael Mendez Brass Institute, and was a featured performer with The United States Air Force Academy Band Falconaires.
